Pricing questions
Do I have to use the AI?
No. Essentials has no AI anywhere. Booking, forms, SOAP notes, card holds, reminders, booking rules, reports and payroll all work without it. Add AI later if you want it, or never.
What are the add-ons?
There are two, and both are optional. + AI is $35 a month: talk to Palm, the AI scribe for SOAP notes, AI marketing drafts, Palm noticing things and suggesting fixes, and AI summaries. + AI front desk is $99 a month: Palm answers your calls and texts, with 300 phone minutes and 500 text conversations a month. There are no other add-ons. Studio and Team include both.
I'm a solo therapist. Is Palm for me?
Yes. Essentials is $45 a month for you, or you and one other. Forms, SOAP notes and card holds are included. When you hire, move up a plan. Nothing to migrate.
What happens after the free trial?
For 30 days you get everything, with the AI and the front desk on. After that you're on Essentials unless you choose otherwise. No contract.
What happens if Palm uses up the month's minutes or conversations?
Nobody is cut off mid-call or mid-conversation. New calls ring your own phone (or go to voicemail) and new text conversations wait in your inbox for you, until the allowance starts again next month. Palm only keeps answering past the allowance if you switch on "keep going", at $0.30 a call minute and $0.10 a text conversation. We tell you at 80%.
Do you take a percentage of my sales?
No. You connect your own Stripe or Square, payouts go straight to your bank, and we never touch a cent of your card sales. Most platforms take 2.3–3.6% on top of the subscription. That's often more than the software itself.
Do I pay per staff member?
No per-seat fees. Each plan covers a range of staff at one flat price, so your bill doesn't balloon as your team grows. Adding someone is never blocked; we'll suggest the next plan when your team outgrows yours.
What counts as a "location"?
One physical shop or studio. Every plan is priced per location; a second location is another plan. Multi-location management is in Team, or talk to us.
Is there a contract or setup fee?
Neither. Month-to-month, cancel anytime, and onboarding is free. Start with a 30-day free trial, no card required.
